The gear we recommend is a good camera and the holy trinity.  A wide-angle lens.  14-24mm or something similar.  A 24-70mm or something similar and, of course, a 70-200mm or something similar.

If you do not have these particular lenses, do not worry; something similar will be just fine. It would be best if you also had a tripod.

3. Trocadéro Gardens

These gardens have plenty of areas to explore and capture. The elevated area is a good place to take a picture of the Eiffel Tower and is an iconic location in photos. There are also cannons and fountains located in the gardens that look great in the foreground of shots.

Make sure to get here early to avoid crowds in the rooms and check with staff on times the fountains will be turned on.

The original love bridge, Pont de Arts is where to head to capture displays of love in the City of Love. The locks on these bridges have piled up over the years and make for great photos.

18. Printemps Haussmann Rooftop

Printemps Haussman is a department store that offers breathtaking views of the city of Paris. Spend an afternoon taking pictures of Paris while sipping on a cup of coffee at the rooftop cafe. The terrace is open until 8pm most days and up until 10pm on Thursdays, giving you plenty of opportunities to capture day and night shots.

19. Louvre Museum

The Louvre is one of the most famous art galleries in the world and houses prized paintings that are visited by millions each year. 21. Edouard VII Square

This square is a landmark square truly fit for a king. This is a great location to visit at night when it is lit up or during the day. If you plan on daytime picture-taking, make sure to take your widest lens because a straight-up picture of the sky framed by the buildings is a great shot.

22. Palais Garnier

Palais Garnier is an incredibly ornate and grand historical building. You can explore the building either on an expert or self-guided tour and take photos along the way. The extravagant chandeliers, bronze-colored interior, and detailed ceilings offer plenty of beautiful photos.

23. Sinking House

The “Sinking” or “Leaning” house is in Montmartre that appears to be hidden beneath the ground if taken at the right angle. Create the illusion by angling your camera and taking advantage of the steep grass hill to make it look like it’s disappearing below the surface. 24. Moulin Rouge
