Pidhirtsi Castle is one of the best photography spots in Ukraine. The story about this castle is amazing. It is located at the Pidhirtsi mountain in the Ukrainian Carpathians. Pidhirtsi Castle was built as a fortified seat in 1397 by Prince Lev Zhabsky and was built on a large granite rock, high above a steep cliff.

It’s built on top of a tall hill in the middle of a forest, miles away from any major city. This makes it harder to get to and gives it more appeal to adventurous travelers such as backpackers and hikers. Even though it’s difficult to access, it is well worth the effort to climb up there because there aren’t many places like this in Europe!
