The Canon PowerShot V10 is your new artistic friend. It’s small enough to fit in your pocket and has a retractable stand and microphone. Perfect for making short, high-quality content.

Canon PowerShot V10

Canon just announced the PowerShot V10, a new idea camera that focuses on video and is made for people who grew up with smartphones. The Canon PowerShot V10 combines Canon’s imaging technologies with a pocketable design. It is small, easy to hold, and records smooth, high-quality video.

“The popularity of short-form content is on the rise, and individuals desire improved results. Canon made the PowerShot V10 to help users improve the quality of their content. Imasaka Daido, Director of Regional ICB Sales and Marketing at Canon Singapore, said, “The design makes it easy for users to focus on making better short-form content.”

Canon says that it made the PowerShot V10 based on vlogger feedback to make it simple, easy to use, small, with good picture quality, and with better audio. And Canon is sure this new camera will be a hit since they keep calling it a “first-generation device,” which makes it sound like it might be the first in a new line.

Features of Canon PowerShot V10

Small in size, but big on what’s inside
The Canon PowerShot V10 is an engine for making videos, even though it is only 9 cm long. An integrated, retractable, tiltable stand provides support like a tripod whenever and wherever you need it. Refrain from fumbling around for random items that will hold your camera but don’t let you control the angle. A large-diameter, three-element microphone also cancels out noise and makes a clear, high-quality sound. This is great for making videos with the ASMR (Autonomous sensory meridian response) effect.

You need your new 3-in-1 content creation kit for everything from trip vlogging to breakdancing demos to experimenting with cinematography to live streaming on location. It fits with room to spare in a small bag, along with your phone, earbuds, and power bank.

Image Quality Is Better
Canon’s EOS image technology lets the Canon PowerShot V10 take beautiful, low-noise videos with bright colors, even in places with “romantic” lighting and low light. Prepare to surprise your audience with the PowerShot V10’s clear and beautiful videos.

Easy to Make No Matter How Good You Are
With different shooting modes like auto and manual exposure and up to 14 color effects, the Canon PowerShot V10 can help you get the desired results, no matter how skilled or how much you plan to edit your footage. You can try out different camera angles with the tilt-type monitor, making it easy to see and change shots from high to low angles.

Even if you’ve never done it, autofocus will be easy: Face Tracking AF instantly finds your face and keeps it in the frame. You can also switch to Specified Frame AF to make the camera focus on whatever you tap.

The new Movie Auto ND filter instantly turns on or off the 3-stop ND filter built into the camera based on how bright the environment is. Now you can record a smooth shift from a dark room to a sunny day outside in just one take.

Both right-handed and left-handed people can hold the vertical grip comfortably and securely. This makes it great for trying out new transitions or taking long videos with one hand, like virtual tours of your trip accommodations.

The wide angle of view of the lens makes it easy to shoot. You can record yourself, your friends, and the scene behind you while keeping your arm in a natural, not-stretched position.

With 14 types of aspect ratio markers, you can ensure that essential parts of your video are always in the right place, even if editing it for different devices.

Livestreaming is easy.
Real-time delivery methods can be used with the PowerShot V10, like live streaming, which can be done directly to Facebook or YouTube through the Camera Connect app without having to deal with complicated settings. You can do this even when you’re out and about; tap on your phone’s mobile network.

The Canon PowerShot V10 can also be used as a webcam thanks to its plug-and-play USB-C port.
