The gear we recommend is a good camera and the holy trinity. A wide-angle lens. 14-24mm or something similar. A 24-70mm or something similar and, of course, a 70-200mm or something similar.

This shot is a must have and it is the easiest one to get. All you have to do is walk across the bridge and stand right in the middle. It is a beautiful shot and a must have.

2. Angels Landing
Photographers often go to Angels Landing in Zion National Park to take pictures. If you’re up for a challenge, you can take some of the most famous pictures of Zion Canyon from the Angels Landing Trail.
If you want to take a picture at Angels Landing, you will have to take the trail. The later you go the less people there are. Best time to shoot is sunset.

3. Observation Point
You can get the best view of the whole canyon at Zion National Park’s Observation Point. You have to take the Observation Point Trail, but it is worth it. If you’re willing to go on a challenging walk, you’ll be rewarded with beautiful views.
You won’t have to wait in line to take pictures, and you’ll have more free time. You might choose to get to Observation Point early in the morning if you have the time and energy to do so.
4. The Watchman View
The perfect place to get that famous picture of Zion is on the bridge that crosses the Virgin River. The Watchman, on the left bank, gives you a great view of the river below. Along with the Pa’rus cycling track, the Watchman Track is a beautiful short trail for many people.
5. Taylor Creek
Taylor Creek is in the Kolob Canyons area of Zion. It is about 45 minutes from Springdale. After entering the park, the parking area for Taylor Creek is two miles up the road on the left. You need to get there early because this small parking lot fills up fast, and there aren’t any other options nearby. The trail goes up rocky cliffs while following a clear stream.

6. Kolob Terrace Road
It starts near the town of Virgin in Utah. On the way to the top, there are many chances to take pictures of Zion’s fantastic rock formations. Even though you can see beautiful sunrises and sunsets in many other places, this part of Zion stands out.
7. Emerald Pool
Depending on the time of year, you may be able to take photos of two beautiful waterfalls on the Emerald Pool Trail. This path takes you to a pretty nice spot right under the waterfalls. You can also take pictures of the falls as they drop into the pools. Spring is the best time to visit or take pictures of these beautiful waterfalls and pools.
8. Kanarra Creek
Kanarra Creek Narrows is a short, easy climb through a slot canyon with steep red cliffs, a few small water crossings, beautiful waterfalls, and a lot of sunlight reflection. But some people may find two dangerous tunnels with ladders that easily slip on.

The narrowest part of Zion Canyon is called The Narrows. The gorge is one of Zion National Park’s most popular spots. It has cliffs that are more than a thousand feet high and a river that at some points is between twenty and thirty feet wide. You don’t need a backcountry permit to take pictures in Zion’s Narrows, one of the park’s most beautiful places.

10. The Subway
The Subway is one of Zion’s most prominent natural features. This tunnel looks like a subway because of the peaceful waterfalls and clear water. The round-trip journey of 8 miles takes two days and permission. If you want to take pictures, plan a full-day hike so you won’t feel rushed. The walk to the subway in the morning is a great time to take pictures because there is so much to see.
11. Canyon Overlook
There aren’t many recognized paths in the upper East Canyon, but the Canyon Overlook Trail is one of them. During a hike, you can stop in a shady area full of ferns and get a great view of the Pine Creek Slot Canyon below. From this vantage point, you can get some great pictures of cars going down the switchbacks into the tunnel.

12. The White Domes
Canaan Mountain is a large plateau that stretches from the Arizona Strip to the Virgin River Valley. This hike or backpacking trip might take you there. The White Domes, a group of white sandstone domes, rising from a background of different colored sandstone, is popular with photographers.

14. The Towers of the Virgin
